Recces are used to minimize potential problems on the days that film crews are shooting their videos. Recces involve going to scout out the location you will be shooting at before the day of the shoot. You can find out things like how the light is in that area, where good places to set the camera up will be, and you can try to anticipate any potential programs you will have when it comes time to shoot.
I was familiar with the apartment building and the streets where I shot my footage, however I used the recce to look at them in a new way. I looked for places that would give me the best shots. A lot of the shots involve framing the characters in certain ways that help define them without verbal descriptions.
Most of the work I did for the recce was determining how to frame the characters in shots like these. I also figured when the best times to film would be based on lighting and the amount of people that were around.
Location 1
The old apartment building
This is the place where I would like to start my video to introduce the basic background of the actor and actress. This is a good location give darkness.

Location 2
The street
This is the second location that I would like to show in the film, the reason why I choose this street is because this is a normally quiet street with few people around (avoid disturb during filming) and less incoming cars (reduce the risk).
Location 3
The corner
This is the next location I would like to go,in this location all of the crew would come up in the video. It provide a good location to give a good impact to the film.
Location 4
The nook
